A 18 years old boy was visited with the chief complaints of throat discomfortness, posterior nasal dripping and hematemesis for several months. Posterior rhinoscopic findings revealed purplish and dark reddish, irregular surfaced tumor mass attached to soft palate in nasopharyngeal cavity. The tumor mass was removed surgically under local anesthesia. The microscopic examination of the surgical specimen revealed a capillary type of hemangioma with localizing inflammation. Postoperative course was smooth, and no evidence of recurrence noted so far.
